Because of its 100 percent full-carbide tip nature and patented diffusion-bonding process, the Bosch SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Xtreme Rotary Hammer Bit has a 4X life in concrete with rebar. The high-heat, high-pressure solid-state welding used in diffusion bonding provides an extremely tight bond. In internal measurements, these bits outlasted a typical SDS-plus® bit in concrete with rebar by 4X.
With an improved variable flute configuration – four flutes transition to two flutes for quick dust removal – the BulldogTM Xtreme bit offers 25% more holes per charge. It's centric conical tip produces rounder holes for precision-anchoring, and it has a worn label to help ensure hole accuracy.
