The Bosch SDS-plus® Bulldog™ Xtreme Rotary Hammer Bit lasts longer because of its patented carbide-bonding technology, which creates a tighter bond between the four-cutter head and the bit. In concrete with rebar, the bit has a 4X life. The bit is driven by the centric conical tip, resulting in rounder holes, which is critical when mounting anchors or fasteners.
The four-cutter head configuration reduces carbide wear compared to two-cutter sections, allowing the consumer to be more efficient. When the bit has worn to the point that it is no longer accurate, a wear mark warns the customer. The bit performs well in reinforced concrete or harsh aggregate, as well as lightweight and standard weight concrete, thanks to an optimized flute system for cooler service.
