Both the Empire rafter squares in this set are patented Polycast material, making them lightweight yet extremely durable. All the imperial markings are cast into the material itself (on both sides), so they’ll never wear off and will always be easy to read. The 7” and 12” rafter squares are commonly used to check if things are square, to mark perfect 45° and 90° lines, and as a circular saw guide with their straight edge. The pivot point on each rafter square helps you accurately measure and mark angles between 0° and 90° quickly, and the embossed conversion table assists with rafter calculations.
